Geraldine, in the ladies clothing section, was very helpful and attentive! I was there on a busy day, but she still took the time to help me with several outfits. She never appeared rushed or bothered. I will shop here again because of her!

New Years Day 2018 sale at Dillard's Men's store started wrong, and got worse once inside the store. The end of a decades long New Years Day shopping trip for me. Arrived inside the mall and seated outside the store doors waiting for the 10AM scheduled opening, only to see a sales rep place a sign on the doors about 9:50AM stating that these doors were going to open at 10:30, and The outside doors would open at the scheduled 10AM time.Just glad it was not raining on those standing outside. Not planning to move to an new line outside in the 30 -35 deg weather, took advantage of Macy's which DID have mall entrance doors open wide and welcoming shoppers :-) Maybe Dillard's management needs to take pointers from Macy's. After shopping at Macy's, we walked back to Dillard's. I had a brief discussion with security staff to try and understand when the doors had different opening times, and will follow-up with the store manager if still there later this week. Made my way upstairs to the area where suits where located, and heard a very polite sales rep informing customers with arm loads of merchandise they could not come upstairs until they checked-out downstairs in the area where the merchandise was located. Fortunately, I had not picked-up any items downstairs! Just think about the unsuspecting family members shopping upstairs and downstairs at the same time forced to check-out multiple times. I'd like to know how many shoppers went back downstairs, and walked out empty handed and frustrated like I did. Off to JOS A. Bank just across the street. My new go to store for men's business clothing.
